BIRTHDATE/AGE --- December 21st / Looks to be in his late twenties at most, is much older however (think millenia).
GENDER --- Male
SEXUAL ORIENTATION --- He is strictly heterosexual and isn't really picky about race, it's all about manners and personality! He will however only accept an Elven Queen.
SPECIES --- Elven
OCCUPATION --- King - Dabbling in the magical arts as a Wizard whenever he gets the chance or is required to.
APPEARANCE ---

Thaelien will always greet everyone with a smile, no matter who it may be, in an attempt to make himself seem more welcoming. His face is completely clear of any blemishes or scars and all of his features are equal, but sharp and bold. Like all elves, his ears are pointed and are usually fully adorned with piercings, varying from simple studs to more elegant chains. He has a favouring of silver jewellery and trimmings on his clothes over gold as, despite being Elven, with an affinity for fire, he prefers colder colour themes running throughout his clothing.

His hair reaches to just below his mid-back and is naturally icy white in colour. It is naturally fairly wavy, finding a good middle-ground between curly and straight which he usually wears in a single braid pulled over his shoulder or left loose with two strands from the sides of his face pulled and tied in the back. Much like his hair, his skin tone is pale and lacking hardly any colour, the first thing brought to mind would be that this is similar to those who are dead, although his personality does not reflect this at all. Thae is also unique in that he has heterochromia iridium, which is that his eyes are coloured differently, one is a bright electric blue colour, and the other is ultramarine, a very strong purplish blue, with flecks of a dull bottle green strewn through it.

Thae has a preferance for dark or cold coloured clothing, usually choosing to stay safe with simple black robes with silver hemming and stitchwork over them. He will also often wear a rather simple silver chain with the family Black Melanite, a rare form of garnet, Gemstone laid in it with a few matched rings on occasion. He often chooses to be barefoot, however it is not noticeable as his robes usually easily rest on the floor. On his belt he usually has a silver shortsword sheathed, should the moment ever arise that he should need to use it.

PERSONALITY ---

There is nothing about the way Thaelien acts that doesn't immediately royalty. He is well mannered, has perfect etiquette and speaks with a strong, and yet charismatic tone. Unlike most of his forefathers, he is very good-natured, often sitting in meetings with the high council of Callaraia to hear the state of the people in his country and often has quite a large input in what may be just menial things to others, for example sentencing for crimes. It is for reasons like this he is quite self-assured and proud of who he is and what he has done. He is able to decide on an option and stick with it.

He enjoys many things ranging from fine arts, music, dance to the magical arts. This comes mainly from his upbringing, but he never opposed it, and was able to take it in his stride and find ways to incorporate with his role. Although as his passions would usually be identified with his role as King, this was a fairly easy feat. However, he has a love for the winter and fall seasons, as he finds them beautiful and simply amazing, which may be something quite different from his kind. Similarly though, he would hate to be caught out in the snow or rain brought by these two seasons and prefers to love them from afar.

One of the main and easily noticeable point to Thae's personality is that he is very bold. With this comes a certain carefree, adventurous and couragous streak running through him. A positive that he gains from this, is probably what becomes apparent quickly and that his is ability to function well in unusual situations. However, two fairly large drawbacks would be that he is quick to accept any challenges, no matter how menial and that he is often willing to take risks if he feels that in the end the positives outweigh the negatives.

Much like most Elves, Thae has an explosive temper. Mostly, it does not take much to completely set him off, he can become very arrogant, loud and fairly hostile. Another negative to his personality would be that he believes he can persuade anyone to view his way of seeing things, be it through buying his way, through flattery, or... other means. This manipulative side has taken years to fully master, in a way that would usually would not be known to those on the recieving end.

Another, probably big negative is that Thae is quite... sadistic, to put it lightly. He is not above torturing those who he believes he can gain valuable information from. In these instances, he usually takes matters into his own hands rather than trust anyone else to do so for him. This trait slightly spreads to a somewhat flirtatious, he is charming and devilish towards ladies, whether or not this wins him any points with them does not really matter to him, as he is fairly persistent.

FAMILY AND HISTORY ---

Thaelien was born into the Royal family of Aridras, the ruling line of the Elven country Callaraia. His parents are Elanas and Freja Aridras and Thalien is the eldest son, to two brothers and two sisters and so was rightfully next in line for the thone, however despite this, him and all of his siblings were expected to learn the ways of royalty, should anything happen to Thae. Throughout their childhood, they were taught the ways of etiquette, royalty and usual classes through means of a tutor. His father was often very busy and so Thae grew up more around his mother when he was little. After he had grown a fair deal and the tutor lessons became boring and repetative, his father saw this as the best oppertunity to take him under his wing as an apprentice wizard. He learned everything he knows about magic and the wizarding arts from his father who believed that magic was able to help in his rule and hoped the same for his son.

As the elven lifespan usually completely blows other race's out of the water, the Aridras family, Thae included, has seen many things be it a country wide illness, small civil wars, or times of hardship over the land. Over time, his father had somewhat mended the country back to it's prime, or maybe even more. All this work had taken it's toll on him and it was easily apparent in that his age was showing more that it should. However, he knew that all of his work would pay of as his son would arrive at a stable and prosperous land. When Thae finally came of age, his father stepped down from the throne, allowing his son to be crowned the new king of Callaraia.

Of course, his rule so far has not been easy, but with the foundation built by his father he has so far been able to cope. With his understanding and caring nature and the way he shows so much concern for the country that most of the Elvish people have learned to love him. He does know however that there will always be those who oppose the way he does things or whatever he declares, but he knows that pleasing the majority is the most important thing.
