For every species, there is a king. The king may or may not have a queen or children, and for some species, they have a queen instead. It depends on the history of the application of the character. Any slots that are not filled are open, and if there is an underline it means that the person was in the king/queen's bio specifically.

Born to the royal Aridras family as firstborn son, Thalien now rules over all of Callraia. His father got the land into its prime, and although reign has not been easy, it hasn't been too hard, either. His people love him, but some other races are waiting to see him slip and fall . . .

The Kiluna family has been royal for as long as anyone could remember. Laurnen Eliana rules as Queen, but is not married and has no children. Her only living relative is her father, Fiderick, the retired King. She is young and not too experienced, so some don't have much faith in her, though she is trying to get everyone to trust her.

In Anion, the Carstairs family rules over all vampires. Arrianna Elaine has been Queen alone - besides her court - since her father died and her mother killed herself. She was an only child, and has had no children, but immortal vampires don't need to worry about that, since they can wait forever. Still, some vampires seem to disapprove of her rule and are secretly trying to take over . . .
